We all know that makeup covers up insecure spots, hides dark under eye circles and brings a ‘natural’ glow to the face, but what if we started wearing minimal makeup on a daily basis? Yes, there are those crazy obsessed makeup queens who like to have fun with trying new things and showing their art on their face, but sometimes minimal is better. Minimal makeup might not seem much less, but in theory it is. We’ll give you 4 go-to tips that will help you achieve a natural, minimal easy look!

Tip 1 & 2: The Face

These first two steps go hand in hand because it’s all about the face.

Unless you’re really confident you can skip this step! To give a natural look and not so cakey use a BB cream/tinted moisturizer for the foundation. Apply with a beauty blender to give it more coverage, add concealer and powder in the usual spots!

This is the step where you want to be as minimal as possible. Contour your cheekbones to your liking add blush and apply your favorite highlight to the cheekbones. Keep it simple but still look like a bronzed goddess.

Tip 3: The Eyes

·      With a well-contoured face and highlight you could easily skip the eyes and just slap on some mascara. But if you want to give a little more “umph” add a bronze shade in the crease, mascara and voilà!

Tip 4: The Lips

·      Once the major features of the face are finished, you can finish off with a pinky nude/any nude lip for the final touch!

Even if you add more to the look or even less either way you will look flawless! Sometimes less makeup is better and shows how much more confident and empowered women are!  Makeup is just a way bring out those natural features and it’s just fun. This is perfect for hot summer days or a day in school or at your internship.
