My Secret Weapon is my hair. I know that sounds so generic but it’s true. My hair is so versatile. If I want to have a completely new look tomorrow, I can do that! When I was younger I hated that my hair was so thick and wild. I never knew what to do with it besides braid it. Now that I have learned to appreciate it – and tame it, I love it! Every coil, every tangle. When it’s straight, when it’s braided, and when it’s twisted. It teaches me to love myself. It teaches me that every imperfection is what makes me who I am. Who knew hair could be so deep (conditioned).

My secret weapon is my large, curly hair because it sets me apart from everyone else. My hair gives me killer confidence and great hair day can put me in a great mood. It's taken me a while to fully appreciate my curls and I definitely say I wouldn't trade them!

My secret weapon is that I am personable. I love meeting new people all the time and connecting with them in anyway possible!

My secret weapon is my sassy attitude. Even though it’s not really a ‘secret’ that I am always sassy, it comes out at times when I need it most. I’ve learned that being sassy comes with confidence and the power to accomplish anything. The sky is the limit and my sassy-ness lifts me off the ground to soar high.

My secret weapon is that I strive to maintain an optimistic perspective. Changing "I have to's" into "I get to's" and swapping out negative thoughts for positivity has made me into a happier, stronger, more independent person. Looking at the brighter side of things is the greatest, especially bc u get to wear fabulous sunglasses. Hehe get it? Keep up the positive vibes. Fill your mind with pretty flowers.

My secret weapon is my susceptibility to new attitudes, thoughts, and beliefs. "Don't knock it 'til you try it," is the motto. When you open your mind to new ideas, or simply accept that others will have ideas and attitudes different than yours, you'll find yourself carrying a much lighter spiritual load.

My secret weapon is my S M I L E.

I believe that a simple smile has the potential to make someone's day brighter. Smiling is FREE; that's the best part about it. I catch myself trying to make the best out of every situation, and it helps if I do that with a smile on my face.

As Marilyn Monroe once said...

"A smile is the best makeup any girl can wear."

Oh! & P.S... I did win best smile in high school if you were wondering ;)

My secret weapon would be my purse, because it carries everything I need and then some

Smiles, cigarettes and sunglasses are the three kinds of secret weapons for me. I am already used to smiling at others everyday, but it is not flattery, it is just the way that I show my respect. When you talk or listen to others with a smile, it always seems to make people feel more comfortable. Then, I can not go out without my cigarettes because when I smoke, it helps calm me down and deal with everything serious. Have you ever heard the saying "When your best friend is down and is crying beside you, don’t give her a piece of paper, just give her sunglasses. Letting her always be cool." I think sunglasses add a nice fashionable touch and gives attitude.

My secret weapon is my favorite pair of sunglasses because they are the perfect accessory to stay mysterious and stylish.

My secret weapon is my ability to laugh at my own jokes when others don't find me as funny as I think I am. Sometimes you'll look and think of things differently than others and that's okay! Embrace it, be you and things will fall into place!

My secret weapon is my ability to drink black coffee and to find it wherever I go. Where would I be without my cup of Joe (or three... or four...) in the morning?

Who's behind the scenes

My secret weapon is my authentic connection to people... particularly those who want to learn more, be more, and experience more of themselves and the world. Be it in fashion, PR, education, yoga, wellness or simply NYC lifestyle, my connections reflect my passion for life, and I believe serves as my unique contribution to humankind.
